D Avenue to Fostoria

From the crossovers and flat crossing with a former Conrail (former PRR) line at HV Junction (MP 0.8), the line continues just west of due north, Two Main Tracks, CTC, Yard Limits, maximum speed  50 mph for trains less than 10,000 tons, 40 mph for trains between 10,000 tons and 20,000 tons, and 35 mph for trains over 20,000 tons, with local restriction 30 mph to MP 1.2, past a through truss bridge across a tributary of the Scioto River (MP 0.9), crossovers at Ackerman (MP 5.0), where Yard Limits end, detectors at "Ackerman" (MP 5.3), and crossovers and a 7,275 ft. center siding at Linworth (MP 9.3), turning north-northwest past Powell, and north past Powell Wye (MP 16.5), the start of single track (40 mph on the equilateral turnout) at Hyatts (MP 18.4), detectors at "Delaware" (MP 20.3), and the 7,924 ft. west side siding at Delaware (MP 24.1).

There is a flat crossing with the CR (former Big Four) Cincinnati to Cleveland line (now truncated as the Delaware Industrial Track) at the north end of the siding, and the resumption of 2MT (40 mph on the equilateral turnout) at RW Cabin (MP 25.2), where the line turns north-northwest, past the start of single track at Meredith (MP 31.0), and just east of due north at Prospect (MP 35.8), past detectors at "Owens" (MP 38.7), the resumption of 2MT at Owens (MP 40.6), the start of Yard Limits at MP 42.6), a 30 mph speed restriction through Marion, from MP 43.8 to MP 46.5, and crossovers at MA Cabin (MP 44.5), before turning north.

A connector from the erstwhile Erie Railroad Dayton Branch once trailed in on the east side, and the line passes the flat crossing and northwest quadrant connector with the double track former Conrail Indianapolis Line (formerly Big Four and Erie joint) at Marion (MP 45.6), where the speed restriction is 25 mph on Track 1 and 20 mph on Track 2, turning north-northwest past crossovers and the 6,988 ft. center siding at MD Cabin (MP 46.5), the end of Yard Limits at MP 48.4, the start of single track (40 mph on the equilateral turnout) at Acton (MP 49.9), Morral (MP 53.2), the 13,489 ft. west side Harpster Siding (MP 54.8 to MP 57.8), and detectors at "Harpster" (MP 58.9), before turning north again.

There is a 7,111 ft. west side siding and a flat crossing with the former Conrail (former PRR) Fort Wayne Line at Upper Sandusky (MP 63.8), and the line turns north-northwest past the resumption of 2MT at Crawford (MP 71.1), a crossover at Carey (MP 73.5), and the flat crossing with the Wheeling & Lake Erie (mostly to the east, with the line west having been abandoned) at C Cabin (MP 73.8), where there is a crossover, and an erstwhile former Big Four line once crossed on the flat, turning north past the start of single track at Springs (MP 76.5), detectors at "Springs" (MP 77.6), Alveda, and Loudon (MP 83.6).

Yard Limits start at MP 86.6, past the resumption of 2MT, crossovers and the flat crossing (35 mph on the crossing), southeast quadrant, northwest quadrant, and northeast quadrant connectors with the double track former B&O Chicago main line at B&O Crossing/F Tower (MP 87.7), in Fostoria, where an erstwhile Toledo & Ohio Central line also once crossed on the flat, at an acute angle, and then ran alongside to the west, the NS (former Nickel Plate) main line crosses on the flat, there are crossovers via a short center siding at Fostoria (MP 88.4), where the 35 mph speed restriction ends, an erstwhile Lake Erie & Western Line once crossed on the flat, and the right-of-way of the erstwhile TOC turns away on the west side near where the erstwhile C&O station used to be.
