Walbrook to Westport

From Walbrook Junction (MP 4.0), where there is a 15 mph speed restriction (10 mph for trains to the Fulton line), the overall speed limit drops to 25 mph, the main line turns west-southwest, in a cutting with bridges carrying Poplar Grove Street and Bloomingdale Road overhead, south, with a road bridge carrying the Baltimore National Pike overhead, southeast, along the Gwynns Falls Valley to pass beneath the viaduct carrying the Northeast Corridor line, south, and east-southeast, beneath Frederick Avenue, Wilkens Avenue, an aqueduct carrying the river overhead, and the Carrolton Viaduct carrying line heading southwest from the Mount Clare Shops, and grade crossing with Washington Boulevard, Annapolis Avenue and two side streets, to the end-on junction with the Baltimore Terminal sub. (Westport Branch) at YL (MP 1.7), where the Tide Block ends and Yard Limits start, passing under the CSX Main and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, making a grade crossing with Old Annapolis Road near Mount Winans (MP 0.0), to the junction with the South Baltimore Industrial Track (MP 0.5), one of the harbor branches.

The latter crosses back over a grade crossing with old Annapolis Road and beneath the Baltimore-Washington Parkway before turning into a junction with the east side of the CSX Main at Carroll.
