Wilmington to Lowell

From the MBTA passenger station with two side platforms at Wilmington, and the 2,770 ft. siding and junction with the Wildcat Branch at Wilmington (MP 15.2), where the Lowell Line turns northwest and the Wildcat Branch heads north, the former, double track, current-of-traffic (Rule 251), maximum speed 60 mph for passenger trains and 40 mph for freights, but local restriction 40 mph to Sweetheart Plastic private grade crossing (MP 15.4), passes Sweetheart Plastic private grade crossing (MP 14.9), Sweetheart Plastic private grade crossing (MP 15.4), Cardwell Crossover (MP 18.0), crossovers at Shop (MP 20.3), where Two Main Tracks, CTC, begin, the junction on Track 2 with the Pan Am B&B Branch (MP 21.6), trailing in from the south, and the passenger station at North Billerica (MP 21.8).

The line turns just westy of due north, past the spur from Track 2 for Corenco (MP 22.8), crossovers at South Lowell (MP 23.3), the spur from Track 2 for New Yard (MP 23.7), and the junction (20 mph on the junction) with the former B&M Freight Main Line, trailing in on the north side, at CPF-BY (MP 24.66), where Four Main Tracks, CTC, and a 30 mph speed restriction start, to the passenger station at Lowell (MP 25.47), where MBTA service ends, and crossovers at CPF-LO (MP 25.47).
