Ashland Avenue Yard

Ashland Avenue Yard, built by the Chicago River & Indiana, and now owned by Norfolk Southern, is currently a hump yard with the hump at the west end, fed by the Hump Lead and feeding a bowl comprising two fans of tracks, one with 17 and the other with 13 tracks. These fans narrow down to three leads at the east end, which bridge over Ashland Avenue before connecting into the CR&I Industrial Tracks on a bridge over Packers Avenue.
