T&P Station to Transportation Center

From its western terminus at the Texas & Pacific Depot (MP 610.7), with its large headhouse on the north side of the line, with platforms and umbrella sheds south of the depot at a level above the streetwhere there is a "yard", the TRE line (owned by UP at this point) heads east, along the north side of the former Texas & Pacific line, single track, CTC, speed limit 20 mph for passenger trains and 10 mph for freights, past Main Street, curving north, with I-30 to the south, at West Tower 55, past a bridge over a road, and a bridge over a divided street, to the junctions at North Tower 55, and then just west of due north, past a grade crossing, extra track on the west side, the former Amtrak station and Santa Fe depot (on the west side), with the BNSF Downtown Yard on its east side, to the passenger station at the Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center (MP 611.4), with west side and island platforms, with umbrella sheds, and brick depot to the west.
