Dykemans to Wassaic

From the junction (a connection heading away on the east side) with the Beacon Line on the east side at  Dykemans, CP 155 (MP 55.3), where TCS is replaced by MBS, with passenger train speed limit 59 mph, a lake on the east side, and the through-truss bridge carrying the Beacon Line overhead at Towners, the Harlem line continues north, past a grade crossing, a box "CP 160" on the east side, a grade crossing, the passenger station with west side platform and umbrella shed at Patterson (MP 60.2), a grade crossing, marshland to the west, a grade crossing, box "MC 601" on the east side, a box "M 620" on the east side, a spur from a gravel quarry trailing in on th west side, a bridge over a stream, a road bridge overhead, two grade crossing, with a box "X 62.7" at one of them, the 662 ft. east side siding and the passenger station at Pawling (MP 63.7), with east side platform and umbrella shed and wooden depot to the west, and a 30 mph passenger speed restriction to MP 64.6, a cemetery to the east, box "ML 641" to the west, the block limit station at Pawl K (MP 64.1), a grade crossing, a box on the west side, a grade crossing, the passenger station with short platform on the east side at Appalachian Trail (MP 65.9), in a wooded area, two bridges over streams, a cutting, and a grade crossing.

The line turns just east of due north past a stream on the west side, in the woods, and box "67.2" on the east side, and turning curvily just west of due north past box "H 684" on the west side, the passenger station with east side platform and umbrella shed at Har Valley - Wingdale (MP 69.1), where the  State Hospital is on the east side, with some buildings on the west side, and a spur to a power plant is on the west side, the 930 ft. west-side siding, a grade crossing, the block limit station at Wing K (MP 69.3), a bridge over a stream, a box "CP 70" to the west, a grade crossing, a bridge over a steam, a dirt road grade crossing, a bridge over a stream, a stream alongside to the west, a road alongside to the east, two bridges over streams, a box to the west, a lake to the west, a bridge over a stream, two grade crossings in the woods, a road bridge overhead, a bridge over a stream, a spur on the west side with trees in it, box "&6.6" on the east side, a grade crossing, the 770 ft. east side siding and the passenger station with west side platform and umbrella shed, and old depot to the west, at Dover Plains (MP 76.6), where the speed limit falls to 15 mph.

There is a bridge over a river, the block limit station at Dove K (MP 76.7), box "CP 177" on the west side, the block limit station at Brook (MP 77.0), where the speed limit falls to 10 mph, a box on the west side, a cutting in the woods, a bridge over a river, a box on the west side, a grade crossing, a turn north-northeast past a spur on the east side trailing in, the passenger station with eastside platform and umbrella shed at Tenmile River (MP 78.9),  grade crossing, box "ML 795" to the east, a bridge over a river, a road alongside to the west, a bridge over a road, a ledge on the hillside to the west, and a bridge over a river, and north, past a grade crossing in town, box "CP 182" on the east side, and a grade crossing, to the passenger station with platform and umbrella shed to the east at Wassaic (MP 81.3) and the end of track at MP 81.4, whence the line once continued north to Chatham.
