Hicksville to Greenport

From the passenger station at Hicksville (MP 24.8), and the crossovers and junction at Divide (MP 24.9), where the Port Jefferson Branch heads north-northeast, and the main line turns south-southeast, third-rail electrified, past Grumman, where it turns south, the passenger station at Bethpage (MP 27.9), where it turns southeast, the former crossing of an erstwhile line from Mitchell Field to an earlier Bethpage, and crossovers and junction at Beth (MP 28.6), where the Montauk Branch heads east-southeast, and the main line turns east-northeast, past the passenger station at Farmingdale (MP 30.2), a crossover at Farm 1 (MP 30.3), a crossover at Farm 2 (MP 31.5), the passenger station at Republic, the passenger station at Pinelawn (MP 32.4), the passenger station at Wyandanch (MP 34.7), crossovers at JS (MP 38.2), the passenger station at Deer Park (MP 38.4), Pilgrim, the passenger station at Pine Aire, the passenger station at Brentwood (MP 41.1), crossovers at Brent (MP 41.2), a crossover at CI1 (MP 43.5), start of the siding, the passenger station and 54-car controlled siding at Central Islip (MP 43.6), and a crossover at CI 2 (MP 43.7), end of the siding.

The line turns just north of due east, past crossovers at KO1 (MP 47.9), the passenger station at Ronkonkoma (MP 48.5), end of the electrified service from New York City, the LIRR yard on the south side, the reduction to non-electrified single track with Block-Limit Stations at KO2 (MP 49.4), Holbrook, the passenger station at Holtsville (MP 51.8), the passenger station at Medford (MP 54.1), and the 39-car siding, passenger station at Yaphank and Block-Limit Station at YA (MP 58.6), northeast, past the Block-Limit Station at MR (MP 65.1), Manorville, where an erstwhile line to Eastport once headed south-southeast, the 34-car siding and Block-Limit Station at AH (MP 69.1), and Calverton, just north of due east, past the 50-car siding, passenger station at Riverhead, and Block-Limit Station at LD (MP 73.3), north-northeast to Aquebogue, east to the Block-Limit Station at R (MP 78.3) and Jamesport, and northeast, past Laurel, the 23-car siding, passenger station at Mattituck, and Block-Limit Station at K (MP 82.4), Cutchogue, Peconic, the passenger station at Southold and Block-Limit Station at SD (MP 90.1), the Block-Limit Station at GY  (MP 93.6), and the passenger station at Greenport (MP 94.3), end of the line.
