Wayne Junction to Chestnut Hill East

At the crossovers at Wayne (MP 5.1), with a road bridge overhead, and the station at Wayne Junction (MP 5.2), with a connection on the north side of the shops, a low-level island platform on the west side (with the Chestnut Hill line on its west side, and two additional tracks west of that), and a high-level island platform to the east, the line from Wayne to Wind being Rule 562 (bi-directional cab signals) from November 12, 2011, the Chestnut Hill East line splits away at the north end (Wind, MP 5.35)  from the main line turning northeast, on the north/'west' side of the main line, double track, CTC, with AC overhead electrification, heading north past the former passenger station at Fishers (MP 5.7), a turn to the west with a bridge over a street, the passenger station at Wister (MP 6.1),with two low-level side platforms on an embankment, a burnt out building (in 2008) to the north, two bridges over streets, the passenger station at Germantown (MP 6.8), with two low-level side platforms with umbrella sheds on an embankment, where it turns north again, three bridges over streets, extra track on the west side to an industry, four bridges over streets, and the passenger station at Washington Lane (MP 7.8), with two low-level side platforms, where it turns north-northwest.

There are signals, three bridges over streets, on an embankment, the passenger station at Stenton (MP 8.6), with two low-level side platforms and a brick depot to the east, where it turns northwest, Intermediate Signals at Gorgas (MP 8.7), two bridges over streets, a street alongside to the east, the passenger station at Sedgwick (MP 8.9), with two low-level side platforms on an embankment, two road bridges overhead, the passenger station at Mt. Airy (MP 9.3), with two low-level side platforms and a brick depot to the west, where it turns north-northwest, Intermediate Signals, a bridge over a street on an embankment, the passenger station at Wyndmoor (MP 10.0), with two low-level side platforms and a stone depot to the west, where it turns northwest, a bridge over a street at the north end of the station, the passenger station at Gravers (MP 10.3), with two low-level side platforms and a brick depot to the west, a road bridge overhead, the crossovers for the station throat at Spring (MP 10.5), a road bridge overhead, a cutting, a road bridge overhead, a turn west, and the stub-end passenger station at Chestnut Hill East (MP 10.8), with side platform and stone depot to the south, and an 'island' platform to the north, served by three total tracks, where there is a SEPTA yard (three storage tracks on the north side).
