Grand Junction (Jacksonville) to Seminole Connection (Jacksonville)

From the the Jacksonville Amtrak Station (MP 639.4), where there is a signaled platform track on the east side of the main line, a platform (with stub track to its east), umbrella shed and a white-painted brick depot on the east side of the line, with a south end stub track also east of the platform, the former ACL double track, CTC, Yard Limits, Nahunta subdivision heads southeast, with speed limit 40 mph, past a wye on the east side, with a line to the docks, and a connector from Carnegie trailing in on the west side at Grand Junction, a flat crossing with an NS line at Moncrief, a road bridge overhead, a grade crossing, five tracks on the east side, a road bridge overhead, the approximately 16 track former ACL Moncrief yard on the west side of the line, and the NS main line trailing in on the west side past the south end of that yard, to a wye, with its north apex at Beaver Street (MP 642.5), in the vicinity of the former Jacksonville terminal station, where the Nahunta subdivision, Sanford subdivision, and Wildwood subdivision all meet, with the route of the former SAL once crossing the north apex on the flat, extra north-facing tracks to the west, a viaduct over a canal, and speed limit 15 mph for passenger trains and 10 mph for freight trains on the wye.
