Walnut Street to 23rd Street

From the crossovers at Walnut Street (MP 1.5), where the Burnham Industrial Lead trails back into the east side of the Joint Line heading north-northeast, 2MT, CTC, with speed limit 20 mph, past a bridge over Cherry Creek, Cherry Creek (MP 0.3), where tracks leading to the south end of Denver Union Station once turned away northeast, crossovers at 16th Street, and the junction at 20th Street (MP 0.0), where the connection to the former Rio Grande and Colorado & Southern lines heading due north turns away north to Prospect Junction, and the connection to the BNSF (former CB&Q) Brush sub. heads northeast, across the flat crossing at 23rd Street with the tracks heading north from Denver Union Station.
