Pine Bluff to Brinkley

From the flat crossing with the former MoPac line from Little Rock coming from the northwest at MP Crossing (MP 268.8), where Yard Limits start, the former Cotton Belt continues east, single track, speed limit 20 mph, past a spur from the Pine Bluff Arsenal trailing in from the west, the line's major maintenance facilities on the north side of the line at Pine Bluff Shops (MP 266.7), a turn northeast at a wye with a spur east to International Paper, Pine Bluff Yard (MP 264.2) on the southeast side, MP 263.2, where Yard Limits end and CTC resumes, a spur from the Port of Pine Bluff trailing in from the north, a speed limit of 30 mph between MP 262.7 and MP 260.8, over the lift span at the Arkansas River Bridge (MP 261.2) after which it rises to 60 mph, a detector at MP 259.3, Rob Roy, and England Junction (MP 256.7), south end of the 8,556 ft. siding at Altheimer (MP 256.1), where the Little Rock Branch trails in from the northwest, with a speed limit of 45 mph between MP 256.2 and MP 255.5, where it rises to 70 mph.

The line continues north-northeast, turning northeast, past a detector at MP 248.5, and then just north of due east, with a 65 mph speed limit between MP 246.5 and MP 246.1, after which it reverts to 70 mph, past the 8,797 ft. siding (30 mph on the siding, and on all other controlled sidings) at Humphrey (MP 244.8), and northeast past Goldman, a detector at MP 236.2, a 30 mph speed restriction between MP 234.3 and MP 232.6, Stuttgart (MP 233.3), where spurs remaining from erstwhile Cotton Belt lines from Hazen and Gillett trail in from the west and south respectively, and an erstwhile Rock Island line once headed away north, the 7,406 ft. siding at East Stuttgart (MP 232.7), Ulm, Aurich, where the erstwhile Memphis & Little Rock Railroad once crossed on the flat, a detector at MP 227.5, and the 8,832 ft. siding at Roe (MP 220.6).

 There is a 60 mph speed limit between MP 219.5 and MP 215.4 as the line turns east-northeast and then northeast again, a detector at MP 216.9, a 25 mph speed restriction between MP 215.4 and MP 214.0, across the White River Drawbridge (MP 214.8), after which the speed limit reverts to 70 mph, the 8,400 ft. siding at Clarendon (MP 214.0), where an erstwhile Arkansas Midland line once trailed in from the southeast, and the line turns north-northeast, a detector at MP 212.3, a detector at MP 209.0, Keevil, a detector at MP 204.0, a 30 mph speed restriction between MP 199.5 and MP 198.2, the 7,678 ft. uncontrolled siding (20 mph on the siding) at Brinkley (MP 199.0), where an erstwhile Arkansas Midland line from Pine City once trailed in from the south, the southeast leg of the wye on the east side, with the Memphis line heading east-northeast, at Memphis Junction (MP 198.9), a former flat crossing with an erstwhile Rock Island line coming from the west that once continued jointly on the line to Memphis, a 60 mph speed limit from MP 198.2 onward, and the northeast leg of the wye on the east side, with the Memphis line, at East Brinkley (MP 198.0).
