Mingo Junction to Weirton Junction

From Mingo Yard (MP 49.5), the line heads just east of due north, Yard Limits, maximum speed 15 mph, past a connection from the Wheeling & Lake Erie trailing in on the east side, a Wheeling & Lake Erie bridge passing overhead, a wye on the west side with the connection from the Ohio Central at Gould, Ming (MP 46.0), where the River Line separates on the east side, single track, Direct Control System starts, maximum speed 30 mph, and the line turns north-northwest, curving north past Steubenville (MP 43.2), north-northeast past the bridge over the Ohio River forming the border between Ohio and West Virginia (MP 42.3) and over another line on the east bank, a detector at Slab (MP 41.7), Weir (MP 41.6), and Weirton Junction (MP 41.0), where that other line trails in and a branch north to Newell departs on the west side of the line to Pittsburgh.
