Burkeville to Jack (Petersburg)

From the junction with the original line, trailing back in on the north side, and start of double track at Burkeville (MP 0.0/133.3/.4), the line heads east, past a bridge over the former Souther line that had been running just to the south, and signals at the West End of Crewe (MP 131.5/.6), turning curvily southeast, past a westbound signal and crossover at the Crewe Yard Office (MP 129.5), crossovers at Oaks (MP 127.9), Intermediate Signals at Nottoway (MP 124.1/.2), detectors at MP 121.4, Intermediate Signals at Grove (MP 120.3/.4), and Intermediate Signals at East Blackstone (MP 116.4/.5), and curvily east-northeast, past Lipco, where an erstwhile line from Fort Pickett once trailed in from the south, Intermediate Signals at Wellville (MP 112.4/.5), Intermediate Signals at Wilsons (MP 109.5/.6), Intermediate Signals at Hebron (MP 106.7/.8), and detectors at MP 104.4.

There are Intermediate Signals at Ford (MP 103.5/.6), Intermediate Signals at Poole Siding (MP 99.3/.4), and Intermediate Signals at Church Road (MP 96.0/.1), a turn to the east, Intermediate Signals at Sutherland (MP 92.4/.5), detectors at MP 89.0, and the junction with the Petersburg Belt Line at Jack (MP 88.3), where the Petersburg Belt Line continues east (on the south side), and the main line through Petersburg turns northeast.
