Lawrenceburg to SJ Tower

From the junction with the former Southern line east to Lexington (now NS only to the power plant on the east side of Young's High Bridge over the Kentucky River), at Lawrenceburg (MP 331.0), the main line turns curvily south, single track, Track Warrant Control, Automatic Block Signals, maximum speed 45 mph, but with local restrictions 40 mph  on curves from MP 328.6 to MP 338.9 and 30 mph on radio-controlled trains from MP 327.3 to MP 350.6, past McBrayer (MP 335.4), a jog southeast and then just west of due south, a detector at MP 337.5, Nevin (MP 337.8), a jog southeast and then south, with a 35 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 338.9 to MP 341.4 and a 40 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 341.4 to MP 350.4, past Salvisa, Vanarsdell, the 10,426 ft. east side siding from West Talmage (MP 342.3), where Traffic Control (CTC) replaces TWC, to East Talmage (MP 344.3), Curry, and a detector at MP 348.4.

The line turns curvily southeast, with a 35 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 350.4 to MP 350.8, a 25 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 350.8 to MP 351.1, a 20 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 351.1 to MP 351.4, as the line turns east, a 15 mph speed restriction on the curve from MP 351.4 to MP 351.5, as the line turns south and an erstwhile connector to the CNO&TP at Burgin once headed east, Harrodsburg (MP 351.6), a 20 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 351.5 to MP 351.8 as the line turns east-southeast, a 25 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 351.8 to MP 352.6, as the line turns south, a 40 mph speed restriction on curves between MP 352.6 and MP 353.1, a turn south-southeast, a 45 mph speed restriction on curves from MP 353.1 to MP 357.6, and a turn southeast to the wye junction where the line trails into the west side of the double track CNO&TP line at SJ Tower (MP 357.8).
