Hudson to Eau Claire

From Hudson (MP 18.9), where an erstwhile Omaha Road line once headed south, the main line continues curvily east, single track, Track Warrant Control, Automatic Block Signals, maximum speed 40 mph, past the former junction with the erstwhile Omaha Road line to Superior at Northline, once a wye on the north side of the line, the 7,970 ft. siding at Sono Junction (MP 23.6), a detector at MP 28.6, Roberts (MP 29.9), the 11,840 ft. siding at Hammond (MP 34.3), Baldwin (MP 40.0), the former junction with erstwhile Omaha Road branches both north and south at Woodville (MP 44.1), the 11,061 ft. siding at Hersey (MP 47.1), an erstwhile Omaha Road spur that once departed to the south at Hersey (Old), Wilson, Knapp (MP 55.4), Tramway (MP 60.4), the junction with the Menominie Lead at a wye on the south side at Menominie Junction (MP 64.0), a former crossing with an erstwhile Milwaukee Road line, and a bridge over the Cedar River.

The line continues east, past Rusk (MP 68.7) and a detector at MP 68.7, turning east-southeast, past the 10.585 ft. siding at Ajax (MP 73.3), Elk Mound (MP 76.5), and Truax, where there was once a junction with an erstwhile Milwaukee Road line to the south, turning just east of due south to bridge over the Chippewa Rive, past a former crossing with an erstwhile Milwaukee Road line, east past the 10.690 ft. siding and junction with the Chippewa Falls sub. (which once went as far as Spooner) heading north at Yukon Junction (MP 87.1), where Yard Limits start, and Eau Claire (MP 87.2), where the line turns east-southeast to the yard at Altoona (MP 90.7) and beyond.
