Paola to Coffeyville (former MoPac)

From the junction with the northwest quadrant connector from the BNSF (and its former M-K-T trackage rights) at Paola (MP 326.9), the bridge over Bull Creek, and the split between the former M-K-T Parsons sub., on the east side, and the continuing Coffeyville sub., on the west side, just south of the bridge, the latter heads southwest, single track, CTC, speed limit 40 mph, past the 10,608 ft. siding at Brown (MP 327.4, where the speed limit is 35 mph, to MP 329.6, where it is 60 mph), and a detector at MP 331.2, where it turns south past a former junction with an erstwhile MoPac line to the west, to the yard at Osawatomie (MP 333.0 - MP 334.5), where  it turns west, Two Main Tracks, CTC, start, and the speed limit is 40 mph, turning curvily southwest past crossovers at Toler (MP 336.0), where the speed limit is 55 mph, crossovers at Baldwin (MP 338.9), where the speed limit has fallen to 50 mph, and Lane, and south past Lane Junction (MP 343.5), where single track, CTC, resumes.

The line turns south-southwest, past a detector at MP 345.8, where the speed limit is 55 mph, Greeley (MP 348.1), where the speed limit is 40 mph, and the 7,374 ft. siding at Hecla (MP 352.4 - MP 353.9), where the speed limit is 35 mph, west-southwest past Garnett (MP 357.6), where the speed limit is 50 mph and there were once flat crossings with erstwhile Santa Fe and MoPac lines, south-southwest past the 7,770 ft. siding at Birch (MP 350.5 - MP 352.1), where the speed limit has risen to 55 mph, west to a detector at MP 366.6, west-southwest past Mont Ida, the 9,103 ft. siding at Dixon (MP 370.8, where the speed limit is still 55 mph, to MP 372.6, where it is 50 mph), Westphalia (MP 373.6), where the speed limit has returned to 55 mph, and the junction with the 15-mile New Strawn Industrial Lead west to the Wolf Creek Power Plant, at New Strawn (MP 375.7), where it turns southwest, past Aliceville.

There is a 7,665 ft. siding at Fields (MP 380.9 - MP 382.6), where the speed limit is 60 mph, a turn just south of due west, a former junction with an erstwhile MoPac line where it turns south past LeRoy (MP 384.4), where there is a 30 mph speed restriction and an erstwhile MoPac line once headed east, Moody, where an erstwhile M-K-T line once crossed, and a detector at MP 387.0, where the speed limit is back to 55 mph, south-southwest past the 8,816 ft. siding at Vernon (MP 390.1 - MP 391.9), south where an erstwhile MoPac line continued south-southwest, past a former crossing with an erstwhile Santa Fe line, the junction with the 1.5 mile Durand Industrial Lead on both sides at Durand (MP 398.5), the 8,244 ft. siding at Durand (MP 398.6, where the seed limit is still 55 mph, to MP 400.3, where it is 60 mph), the location where an erstwhile MoPac line once trailed in on the west side, Rose, a detector at MP 410.9, where the speed limit is back to 55 mph, and Buffalo.

The line turns just west of due south, past the 7,909 ft. siding at Roper (MP 414.1 - MP 415.8), where an erstwhile MoPac line once left on the west side, and Benedict (MP 417.6), where there is a 30 mph speed restriction, an erstwhile Santa Fe line once crossed, and the line turns south-southeast, past Guilford, and a detector at MP 423.6, where the speed limit is back to 55 mph, south past the 7,742 ft. siding at Hennelly (MP 424.9, where the speed limit is still 55 mph, to MP 426.5, where it is 40 mph), Altoona (MP 427.2), and Buffville, south-southwest past Hilford, south past the 8,241 ft. siding at Neodesha (MP 433.1, where the speed limit is 55 mph, to MP 434.8, where it is 30 mph) and the flat crossing with the former Frisco (now South Kansas & Oklahoma) at SKO Xing (MP 434.9), just west of due south past a detector at MP 438.2, where the speed limit has risen to 60 mph and the 9,489 ft. siding at Sycamore (MP 441.2, where the speed limit is still 60 mph, to MP 443.5, where it is 55 mph) before turning just east of due south.

There is a flat crossing with a former Santa Fe line (now South Kansas & Oklahoma) at SKO Xing (MP 448.6), where there is a 40 mph speed restriction, a former flat crossing with an erstwhile Santa Fe line, the 8,045 ft. siding at Independence (MP 449.1, where the speed limit is still 40 mph, to MP 450.8, where it is 55 mph), where the line turns south-southwest, Blake (MP 453.3), where the speed limit is 60 mph and the line turns south, Jefferson, a detector at MP 459.5, where the speed limit is 55 mph and the line turns southeast, the 8,237 ft. siding at Dearing (MP 462.6 - MP 464.3), where there was once a junction with an erstwhile MoPac line southwest, a turn to the east, CP V467 (MP 467.1), where there was once a spur on the north side, and a turn south at Coffeyville (MP 467.8), where there is a 20 mph speed restriction and a wye junction with an erstwhile MoPac line continuing east, a stub of which is used by the South Kansas & Oklahoma to reach a former Santa Fe line north.
