The line continues just north of due east, past a road alongside to the north, a short extra track on the north side, Bryan (MP 341.9), where there is a passenger station (platform and brick depot on the south side) and a Big Four line once crossed at grade, a crossover at CP 341 (MP 341.4), a bridge over a road, two grade crossings, an angled grade crossing, and a crossover at CP 340 (MP 340.3), where the siding ends and the speed limit reverts to 79-70-60-50, detectors at "Bryan" (MP 339.9), four grade crossings, Intermediate Signals at MP 338.x, four grade crossings in the fields, two grade crossings in town, Stryker (MP 334.8), no audible detectors at "Stryker" (MP 334.1), formerly rail-served silos to the north, a grade crossing in town, Intermediate Signals at MP 334.x, MP 334, a grade crossing, MP 333, Intermediate Signals at MP 332.x, a signal bridge, and crossovers at CP 329 (MP 329.8), where a 13,986 ft. siding starts.

The major Toledo area yard is on the north side of the line at Airline Junction (MP 290.8), where the west side of a large wye heads north to join the line to Detroit.

The countryside in Indiana and western Ohio is farmland. Eastbound passenger trains pass though this area in darkness. On westbound passenger trains, daylight appears in the western parts of Ohio or into Indiana.
