Ashcroft to Kamloops

There are connections both ways to the CP at MP 57.0, where both lines are on the south side of the Thompson River. Paired rail running west of here ends (or begins) at these connections. The single track, CTC, line continues northward, past a 1,366 ft. tunnel at MP 54.8, a 7,200 ft. slide fence at MP 51.6, a 934 ft. tunnel at MP 51.5, and a detector at MP 50.6, to the 6,640 ft. siding at Ashcroft (MP 48.7), where the line turns east-northeast, crossing the river again, past the 6,090 ft. siding at McAbee (MP 40.0), where it turns east, past a 2,700 ft. slide fence at MP 38.46, and then east-southeast, across the river again, to the 6.070 ft. siding at Walhachin (MP 32.6), east past a detector at MP 28.3 to the 6,540 ft. siding at Savona (MP 25.7),  through a 759 ft. tunnel at MP 20.3, past the 7,190 ft. siding at Jaleslie (MP 19.4), east-northeast, crossing the river again, to run on the north side of the lake that forms the river at this point, past a detector at MP 14.8 and the 6,780 ft. siding at Frederick (MP 13.8), where it turns east-southeast, a 1,790 ft. slide fence at MP 11.55, a 1,706 ft. slide fence at MP 10.41, a 2,831 ft. tunnel at MP 10.2, a 1,241 ft. slide fence at MP 9.64, and a 217 ft. tunnel at MP 9.41, to Kissick (MP 9.3), where two tracks begin, and Mann (MP 0.7, where single track resumes, and across the river to Kamloops (MP 0.0), where the line turns north-northeast as a connector from the CP line trails in from the south.
